Example projects

Family bakery · online shop

From a phone-only order book to online ordering

The problem
Every cake order came by phone, usually during the morning rush. Orders got written on scraps of paper and some were missed entirely.
What we built
An online shop where customers choose a cake, pick a collection date, and pay a deposit. Orders arrive by email and print straight to the kitchen.
What changed
Roughly two thirds of orders now come in online, most of them outside opening hours. No missed orders since launch.

Physiotherapy clinic · bookings

Cutting the time spent on the phone

The problem
Reception spent most of the day booking and rearranging appointments. Patients who called out of hours simply went elsewhere.
What we built
Online booking that only offers slots the clinicians actually have free, with automatic reminders the day before.
What changed
Around half of bookings now happen without a phone call, and missed appointments dropped noticeably after reminders started.

Independent retailer · fixing a slow site

A shop that was losing sales to slow loading

The problem
The site took around eleven seconds to load on a phone. Most visitors gave up before seeing a single product.
What we did
Found the real causes — oversized images and far too much third-party tracking code — and fixed them, rather than rebuilding from scratch.
What changed
Loading came down to under two seconds. Visitors leaving immediately fell by about half, and sales followed.

Local tradesperson · being found

Invisible on Google to invisible no longer

The problem
A good business with a website that Google barely acknowledged. Nearly all work came from word of mouth.
What we did
Fixed the technical problems stopping search engines reading the site, set up the business properly on Google Maps, and gave each service its own page.
What changed
Enquiries through the website went from a couple a month to several a week, without spending anything on advertising.

Growing contractor · custom system

Getting a business off spreadsheets

The problem
Quotes, jobs and invoices lived in a set of shared spreadsheets that only one person fully understood, and which broke regularly.
What we built
A simple system covering quotes through to invoicing, with logins for office staff and a phone-friendly view for people on site.
What changed
Quotes go out the same day instead of the following week, and nothing depends on one person's spreadsheet any more.

Software company · hosting costs

A cloud bill that had quietly got out of hand

The problem
Monthly hosting costs had roughly tripled in a year with no matching growth in customers, and nobody could explain why.
What we did
Worked out where the money was actually going, switched off what nothing used, and resized what was oversized.
What changed
The monthly bill came down by a little over half, with no reduction in speed or reliability.

What we guarantee

These aren't marketing lines. They're in every agreement we sign.

A reply within one working day

Every enquiry, every time. If we're going to take longer on something, we'll tell you that within the day rather than going quiet.

A month of free fixes

If something we built doesn't work properly in the first month, we fix it at no cost. That's a bug, not a change request.

Everything belongs to you

The site, the design, the code, the domain and the content are yours from day one, and we'll hand them over whenever you ask.

Usable by everyone

Everything we build is tested for people using screen readers, keyboards, or who need larger text. Included as standard, never an upsell.

Your details stay private

We don't sell or share anything you tell us, and we'll sign a confidentiality agreement before seeing anything sensitive if you'd like one.

The quoted price is the price

If the work turns out bigger than we judged, that's our mistake to absorb. You only pay more if you ask for something new.

Could yours be the next one?

Tell us what's not working and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
